About Me

On Photography

So much has transpired since I received my first camera at age six, and not only my passion for creating images. The story of me and photography began when my maternal grandfather presented me with a Kodak Brownie camera, and several rolls of 620 film. My mother patiently taught me how to load it, and right after I started making images. I still feel the same anticipation and excitement I did then waiting for the film to be ready at the photo lab, however, not many years later I began doing all of my own darkroom work, and I still do. I shoot all the film formats, color, black and white, and alternative process image making. I don’t shoot much digital, I prefer rolling up my sleeves and doing it the analog way.
